This position requires experience working in a collection environment. Responsibilities will include outbound collections calls, research, and follow up. The Collector will be responsible for negotiating payment arrangements with customers on outstanding balances via the telephone; Negotiate and offer repayment solutions; The ideal candidate will be detail oriented as well as be proficient with a computer in order to document information on a computer while effectively communicating with the customer via the telephone. The candidate has to be able to work a flexible schedule including saturday mornings. Qualifications include: Third-party collection experience; High school diploma or GED certificate; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Skilled in skip tracing and negotiation techniques; FDCPA and credit bureau reporting knowledge; Spanish fluency a plus.
